I like it here and there, but not too much. It's strong tasting to me.

I grow it every year in my garden, using the leaves for fresh cooking and saving the seeds for subsequent plantings, and to grind for coriander.

I like it now, but at first I thought it tasted like swimming pool water smells. Now, I use it when I make fresh salsa, and enjoy the fresh taste it gives it.

I hate, hate, hate it. Smells like soap or something nasty. I will not eat it, but if it gets in my food I will eat it and try to be nice about it. I will ask people to take it out of whatever I order.

I definitely like it. I'll take cilantro over guacamole any time. Chipotle uses it in their burritos.

Cilantro?
I think not!

I always felt it was related to my utter revulsion with Tarragon, which does not taste similar, but creates a similar aversion in me.

PS I can detect absolutely MINISCULE amounts of tarragon; not so with cilantro, tho.

I'm a no, even though I like most other seasonings and spices. To me it's overpowering and all I taste if it's in a dish. Lots of people are crazy about it, though, and I don't criticize them. I give cilantro a go every once in awhile to see if I've changed my response, but no. I'm the same way with olives. I WANT to like them. But I absolutely don't.

I only use cilantro in salsas and bean salads or as a topping in tacos, burritos, etc. It seems to lose its flavor when cooked any length of time.

One of my favorite quotes from Julia Child--when asked about cilantro, she said she would pick it out of her food & throw it on the floor.
