Coffee should be .15 cents a cup. What the heck is going on these days with coffee?
I paid $2.50 for a small cup of coffee at a Green Bay coffee shop. Of course it was a bottomless cup. But how many cups of coffee are you going to drink?
I miss the days of sitting at the counter in a Dunkin' Donuts, eating doughnuts and drinking cup after cup of coffee with a nice lass bringing it to you. It was fun.
Like tuna went up 400% in the last year or two! We've gotten this K-cup machine and buying coffee in K-cups is really pricey! Plus we're buying distilled water to run in it. I think anyone is nuts to pay Starbuck's prices but my wife and daughter do it too. I drink one cup a day and though I may have a favorite... any coffee is fine with me. Same with my tea. I don't buy expensive teas. Store brand is good as any.

When was the last time you were at Dunkin' Donuts?!? Nobody there is nice.
I generally brew my own coffee, but I do use whole bean and grind it myself, versus buying pre-ground, and even doing it that way, it's not cheap (cheaper than buying it already brewed at Starbucks, but then, what isn't?). But the raw materials for coffee have gone up in price, even if you brew it at home. A pound of beans locally costs anywhere from 6-10 bucks minimum, depending on whether you are getting house brand, cafe brand, locally roasted, whatever. That's still way cheaper per cup than buying it by the cup at Starbucks, but the cost has gone up, like it has with everything else.
