$12.99 for a bagel with lox and cream cheese sounds pricey to me. Anyone here ever pay that or be willing to?
I'm curious TCgal - did you actually see this price somewhere or are you planning on selling it for that price?
I would never pay that much but then I'm pretty frugal. (Okay, I'm cheap) Sitting in a restaurant or deli with a cup of coffee, I'd be willing to spring for five or six dollars, but no more than that.
I was on Long Island last week, at a place that makes good NY bagels, Bagel Boss, I would compare them to any bagel store around in NYC and it was almost $10 with a cup of coffee. $12.99 is ridiculous.

one bagel, a few lox and cream cheese? wow, I would say pricey. Heck we go on cruises and I have lox and bagels almost every morning. You can come to my house, I will serve you the same thing for 1/2 that much; plus you can watch out the window and maybe see the deer or a red fox in the back yard...

Okay, will be over when I return home to New Mexico!
I'm visiting here in Bellevue, Washington, outside of Seattle. The bagel is at Goldberg's deli in Bellevue-Factoria, not far from where I'm staying. Passed it up first time due to price but walked by a couple days later and paid the $12.99. Bagel was good, but yes, way over-priced. Then I did the math a realized I could have had 4 or 5 Starbucks lattes instead!
