We all know there are likely to be planetary benefits and perhaps some health benefits from eating mostly organic, but which organic foods actually TASTE better than conventional?

And conversely, are there organic foods which definitely taste worse than conventional?

Tomatoes are better organic, certainly. Eggs if they're also truly free-range. I was just eating some organic sweet corn on the cob which brought this to mind .... it had a slightly stronger, more distinctive taste than conventional, but I don't know if that was because it was a different variety rather than from being organic.

Chicken for sure, but then again it seems tied in to whether they've led a cage-free life. Some people might prefer conventional because of it being so much more tender, but that's repulsive to me - chicken should have some texture and more flavor than factory farmed. I do remember when I was very young though, that some of the chicken was quite tough! One was more likely to get an older bird then, it's getting harder to find anything older than a fryer nowadays.

I guess to me conventional celery tastes better than organic.

Anything else?

Pretty much everything taste better when organic. I definitely can taste the difference in milk, fruits, veggies, and meats. With other products is just a healthy choice - no additives, chemicals and colors, no artificial flavors.

Everything organic tastes better! But you've hit on the things with the biggest taste difference - tomatoes, eggs, and chicken... And organic milk is miles above regular milk.

I would also say strawberries and blueberries are much better organic - and baby spinach!

And organic beef? Wonderful!

Once you start to eat organic food, it's hard to go back...

I think it is freshness as well as organic. Of course free range chicken eggs are much better, as well as tomatoes and cukes. Cukes might be at the top for me cause so often the ones from the store are seedy and soft. In fact I rarely buy them. If they aren't from the garden we do without.

It doesn't have to be Organic, just to avoid additives. I buy Daisy sour cream and Dannon yogurt, which contain nothing but milk (according to the label), in order to avoid the long list of additives that are on the cheaper store-brand products.

I LOVE organic grapes and apples!

I second that organic milk definitely tastes much better.

But I haven't been impressed with the organic beef I've gotten from Costco. It is $4 a pound and each time I eat it, I find bones in it.

Well, the bell peppers I have gotten from Costco have tasted like gasoline, so I am not sure using Costco as your organic example for whether or not something is superior necessarily makes any sense.
