Never heard of UNO bars nor PEP cereal,, Nicco's yes, & they are still around, good tasting too.

Happy 53rd. to you & hubby, Nita. I beat ya, I'm there right now, but not for long either.
We are apparently talking about 2 different things. I thought you were referring to the Shake and Bake chicken coating. Their commercials used to have a goofy little girl in them and they would say something like "it's not fried, it's shake and bake" and the little girl would stand there and say "and I helped".

I believe you are thinking of an Easy Bake oven.

I will always remember Slo Pokes because when I was six the filling came out of my tooth and it was stuck in the Slo Poke. They were not made to bite and crew on, but what the heck I was just a little kid.

Remember Bonomo Turkish Taffy?

I loved the banana flavored ones. They also had chocolate, strawberry and vanilla.

Sometimes we would put them in the freezer so we could whack 'em and crack 'em.

"OH OH OH.....IT'S BONOMO!"

When I was a kid, we got these from the milkman.

Round, plastic ball shaped things....with a cylinder on each end....they broke apart in the middle so you could put ice cream inside.

Then you would put one cylinder end in a bottle of pop.....tip it up and drink a "float" out of the other end.

I remember it foaming so much it came out of my nose.

I didn't really like it, but it came with a toy. Too bad my sister always got the toy (actually I think it was a button) she was older than me.

Nita

UNO bars are still around... unfortunately I haven't found them anywhere other than California... however, you can order them by mail, directly from the company: Rocky Road, Big Hunk, Abba-Zaba, Look, U-NO, Candies, Chocolate, Taffy & Nougat.
