Oh...end-of-summer and fall soups...can't wait!

I am not a chef but do enjoy making freshly-made foods that are visually interesting and/or colorful. End of summer and fall fresh veggies are a favorite main ingredientfor soups....love these:

Carrot
Butternut squash
Cream of spinach
Autumn squash, using multiple and varying-color squashes ie acorn, etc.
Broccoli

Your favorites???

Well, up here, it is getting nippy...snow will start this weekend, or next. I love that Campbell's butternut soup. I am too lazy to make soup now, and for one person, it is SO much, I get sick of it...I used to love making a big batch of Minestrone, or French Onion, my sons loved soup. And my favorite, is getting a bone from Honey Baked Ham store...and making Split Pea Soup.
