TV dinners? No...

But....

marie callender chicken pot pie - 2 crusts! But they are ridiculously high in fat and sodium so I just can't bring myself to go there anymore
I will buy these occasionally for DS18....he still has a teenaged boy metabolism....the rest of us? Not so much....

Hell, maybe if I still played lacrosse I could afford a pot pie now and then - but those days are over. Too bad we can't console ourselves with a big bowl of Kellogg's Concentrate!

I get them for lunch at work but mostly the steamer bowls. Chicken preferably since the ones with beef have too much sodium. I prefer real food but they are cheap compared to going out.

I sometimes buy Kashi or Boston Market, they can be pretty good.
Sometimes a TV dinner just reminds me of Moms home cooking.

There is a reason why I learned how to cook after all.

Thats what I do, although technically not TV dinners but turkey/chicken pot pies. I've always got a few stashed away they are so cheap and I do enjoy them especially since can nuke 'em instead like old days with 45 minutes of oven time.

They are not worth the $$.

Too salty and like nothing to them.

Maybe a Marie Calendar's or something else might be good but the "cheaper" ones I find are trash

Do you have a favorite brand etc?

I buy Banquet frozen dinners quite a bit. It's easy to heat up, doesn't take a lot of time to eat and frankly, it's just to refuel myself while at work. No, they are not enjoyable but they are cheap and they stop the hunger. I can't see myself spending $3-$4 on a Marie Callendar's frozen dinner. It's all crap no matter what way you slice it.

I grew up on TV dinners. I never want to eat one again.

...but I would love a good, quick option for nights my husband is working and I don't feel like cooking just for me.

when the kids were really young and daddy worked nights over the weekend, for a treat yes, since then:NO NO NO!! Actually in my working days I would keep a few Heathy choice entrees in the freezer and take them for lunch about every couple of weeks. I have purchased frozen meat balls a couple of times for a large fund raiser with over 100 people.

No, those things are gross. I do good to stomach frozen pizza from time to time let alone a TV dinner.
