Going to the restaurant and packaging the leftovers would be a lot better for you. Probably taste better too!

I like to have Lean Cuisine, SmartOnes, Healthy Choice meals on hand.

I like Stouffer's Spinach Souffle and sometimes I'll pick up an Amy's entree.

i believe food in restaurants are often high in sodium so im not sure it woudl be much different healthwise. also, i dont have high blood pressure so the extra salt in a single meal doesnt concern me much. going to the restaurant would cost me about 6 times more than that frozen meal cost.

The only kind I like are Lean Cuisine Chicken Carbonara or Sesame Chicken, Stouffers Macaroni & Cheese, and Amy's Cheese Enchiladas. I will have one of the above maybe 3-4 times a year.

I eat them for lunch a couple of times a week - Stouffer's chicken a la king, swedish meatballs, and angel hair pasta and lemon shrimp.

Default You struck a chord in me...

I don't eat TV dinners anymore, but my Grandma used to stockpile the Hungry man dinners and make me watch the soap operas with her. The hungry man apple pie was awesome. It is processed, unhealthy stuff but man, to be a kid again.

Same here.
Or I get the breakfast type to switch things up. I figure they can't be much worse than a bologna sandwich as far as sodium and preservatives.
I only buy them when they are under $2, since they have a tendency to disappear from the freezer at work from time to time.

I keep two in my freezer at all times. I never use them, but they're good to have there in case I ever run out of real food. It's only happened once in nine years, but I'm a thorough person. They are Lean Cuisine paninis, not sure of the type. Cooking real food is always superior! At the very least I throw together some whole wheat pasta with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic.

No TV dinners here...I try to not buy any packaged or processed foods.

As a kid growing up in the 50s and 60s my mother never bought them either.
