What are your 6 DEGREES of Bacon ?.minus the Kevin.

Degree #1.) Buying it at the store.. picking out a non fatty pack using the window in back of package.. I like the maple flavor.

#2.) tucking it into the fridge where it shines whenever I open the door.

#3.) taking a few minutes to decide how to best enjoy it cooked this go-around.

#4.) going hog wild by deciding to make the whole package in the oven
all at once.

#5.) Simple choices: BLT's ...loaded

Bacon is the #1 reason why I stopped being a vegetarian, back before being a vegetarian was fashionable. They didn't -have- no-meat menus and veggie restaurants, and the whole foods store carried organic meat. But EVERYONE had bacon.

As for what bacon goes good with - you're all a bunch of amateurs. It's not "what does bacon go good with." It's "what goes good with bacon."

Bacon stands on its own. Eggs, however, are pointless without bacon. Fillet mignon is great, but it is truly worth its $10000/lb price paired with bacon. Scallops WITHOUT bacon? Are you kidding me? The best thing to combine with bacon - is an empty plate.
