I went to my other sister's house for Christmas dinner, which was roasted turkey with egg casserole, candied yams and cream-style corn.

I was outside much of the day and picked up a cheesesteak on the way home.

Today? There's lots of food in the freezer so i will thaw some home made soup, lasagna or whatever my heart desires.

Leftovers. Glazed ham, sweet potato casserole, broccoli-rice casserole, and sauteed corn. Still have plenty of desserts too.... would anyone like some sweet potato pie or red velvet cake or southern style banana pudding?

Either my family didn't like my cooking this year or I made too much food. I have enough leftovers for another complete holiday meal!

That would be cool if somehow we could all trade leftovers with one another. A completely different meal with no cooking!

For us it is our Crhistmas dinner and celebration so: the prime rib is cooking, the ham is about to go on (just needs to be heated) the mash potato cassarole is ready to be heated and the asparagus will be roasted. Before we eat (about 4:30) we will have drinks and appitizers. My daughter is bring the appitizers (except for the stuffer jalapenos) I did them, she is bringing the salad and the dessert. I think we will have more than enough for 10 of us plus lots of left overs.

It would be fun to trade them around wouldn't it?

Roasted chicken to go with left over dressing from yesterday; collard greens; corn and rolls.
I used part of the chicken to make a big pot of chicken corn chili for supper tomorrow night.
