This morning's breakfast was at the Old West Cafe in Grapevine, TX. There, I had sausage patties, four bacon strips, three eggs over-medium, hash browns, English muffins, and coffee.

We are having grilled turkey filets, mashed sweet potatoes and veggies. I night even use the rest of the asparagus and hubby will just have to live with it.

Whoops! Let me rectify a mistake from a while ago.

Dinner tonight will either be Five Guys or Dickey's BBQ. Hasn't been decided.

Sorry about the accidental breakfast post.

It's hubby's birthday dinner. I was hoping he'd vote for dinner out, but alas.... So dinner, with company coming, is prime rib with baked potatoes, with bacon, green onions, choice of creme fraiche, sour cream or butter over top. Steamed broccoli making a half-hearted stab at healthiness, and completely undone by the cheese sauce.

Dessert, which we never normally have, will be meringues with raspberries and whipped creme fraiche.

Leftovers from last night, but I am making a lemon cake with guava filling and cream cheese icing.
