I was actually going to eat a TV dinner yesterday. I was really tired, not to mention hungry enough to eat a horse after cleaning out the garden , tilling, mucking out the barn, hauling bales around, etc. But there was only one TV dinner in the freezer. I thought hubby would go for his favourite sausages, and he could heat those up himself but then he was so kind as to say he'd "share" my TV dinner. Like he was doing me a favour. So I gave up on the idea of a cooking-free day and made shepherd's pie. Shepherd's pie leftovers for today as well.

P & S--wish I could share my pantry with you
But, like so many others---I've been there too! Thank goodness for the rice!

We are finishing up our last produce from our favorite farmers market--we had BIG salads

I remember when I was in college, with no car (during summer when all my friends have gone home) and my bank for some reason tied up my transfer funds from my overseas account and for a couple of weeks as well, I have to survive on a loaf of bread, instant noodles, rice and barely anything else in the pantry.

That wasn't easy.

Hope you get straighten out soon with your bank.
Well, I have tomorrow off work and I just called the bank and told them I was coming in for free coffee and that they had darn well better have a muffin and some fruit waiting, too! The woman on the phone laughed. I paused and said, "I'm not kidding..." LOL

So, either way, I'm eating tomorrow! Oh, the possibilities are endless...

I never say no to a salad. I think you can do more with a salad than anything else. Thanks for the thoughtfulness! (All of you!)

After I get back from the bank tomorrow, I'll remind my taste buds how much I love them...

LOL Isn't that sweet of him? That ranks right up there with, "This smells funny. Do you want it?"
