Beef stroganoff with potato straws. No, nothing green. That required more thoughts than I had today.

Well, I just had a ham, gouda, spinach, tomato, avocado sandwich, with baby carrots and sliced red bell pepper on the side.

I mean, it was either that, of give into raiding the potato chip bag and onion dip... which is what I had for lunch. ha.

On no white food, no sugar diet, so made albacore tuna with hard-boiled egg, mayo, poultry seasoning and celery. Ho hum, but it's doing the trick.

Going to a summer ending pot luck at our friends house-lots of bbq chicken, pork, sausages and my friend also has a hamburger/cheeseburger that is infused with a red wine based bbq sauce with cheddar/blue cheese and red onions and mushrooms--his recipe is a closely guarded secret. For desert they have grilled peaches, pears and pinapple topped with whipped cream.

It was fun cleaning out the freezers, but it is more fun to eat what we really enjoy: tonight we are grilling steak and veggies. I will make a huge green salad and we will eat til our hearts content.
