Two company picnics today:

The first featured two food booths.

In the first was a Chicago hot dog stand serving Vienna hot dogs with the nine classic ingredients. Also foot long polish, hamburgers and the like. Also, fresh french fries and sweet potato fries.

In the other was an authentic Mexican tacqueria including carne asada tacos, al pastor tacos, chiccarones tacos with all homemade ingredients. Also some great quesadillas.

==============

The second featured pork spareribs, hamburgers, and bratwurst.

Sno-cones, popcorn, and cotton candy were served in a booth run by three girls who were 10-12 years old. This led to some very interesting looking food that was still great.

Fortunately, despite some early morning nausea, I was over the worst part of Wednesday's food poisoning.

=========================================

And I am very ready for the Darien, WI Corn Fest tomorrow which features AYCE fresh roasted corn FREE, compliments of Green Giant.

We went to a friends house for dinner, she made Mac and cheese, ribs, Kilebasa and beans and a salad. I had everything except the ribs.

I fixed Oatmeal, toast and we had a glass of milk. It is chilly here and the oatmeal was perfect for a chilly evening.
