We moved to Grand Junction CO from Phoenix AZ. There's no Panda Express here...at least we can buy their sauce in store

The time has come, to chip away at all that leftover freezer food!!!

But I did allow myself to make some Cuban Black Bean Soup, some Butterscotch Oatmeal Scotchies, some Star Chocolate Bars and some non-yeast Irish Soda Bread. What a laughable undertaking that was!!!

Yeah! Sure! Put that slimy, slippery concoction on a floured board and roll it into a ball and put criss-crosses on top with a knife! The problem was I couldn't get the dough off my hands to form a ball! Patty-caking only made matters worse! Finally, unable to grab a knife with my gooey hands, I screamed for help from my roommate!! Scraped it onto the aluminum foil, and then couldn't decide to slip it into the trashcan or the oven! But what a yummy surprise!

On tonight's dinner menu...

Oven baked chicken with curry, some rosemary and tarragon, served with rice and broccoli. If I'm not too lazy, I'll have some garlic bread with that

we did the chipping away last week: it was fun, well, not really, but it was interesting..Now, I am back to planning real, from scratch meals. Tonight we are having ham and lima beans: Hubby asked for them and I don't think I have made them in mayber 5 years or so? I always use the left over ham bone for split pea soup.
