My brother told me he doesn't like nasty "old" (aged) wine; he likes the fresh stuff!

Oooh ... that reminds me ... the peach salsa is great too! I usually keep a jar on hand. I need to see if there's any in the pantry!

The Charles Shaw wine is decent table wine, but by spending just a few dollars more, you can get much better wine at TJ's and still get a good deal.

Macadamia nuts, 10 oz. bag. There's no Trader Joe's near me, but friend brought them to me from outta' state & they were great (and a good deal).

This is my main complaint with Trader Joe's...they used to have a premade Buffalo Burger with white cheddar and onions that they discontinued. I loved them. Other than that, I think they are awesome. And the two buck chuck is pretty darn good.

When we lived in NM we would do a TJoes run to ABQ about once every month or 6 weeks. You are right, we always picked up bottle of $2 Chuck, but also some of those others they carry. One was an impost from So. America, we loved it. I am just waiting til the day they decide NWA is a prime location for a store. I hope that is while I am still alive and able to walk.

Yes, the discontinuing is a tough one. They used to have the best Hollandaise sauce I had ever had, better than most home made, but they don't carry it anymore. of course a lot of stores do this.

I heart a few items: 21 salute seasoning, Argentinian shrimp, and the dried fruit.

Love their kobe burgers, and I can no longer eat any other corn muffin mix except Trader Joe's.

Right now I'm OBSESSED with their frozen Thai curry with red rice. They also have decent bim bim bap bowls (my coworker who is not only Korean-American but also taught in Seoul for two years gives it a stamp of approval - good enough for me!) and fantastic frozen pizza (black mushroom and truffles soooo good). Price isn't too bad either - not much more than the cardboard junk from the grocery store but much better quality and a decent portion.

I also like their California wine country chicken salad, but it's pricy. No matter what I do, I just can't replicate it at home!

If you're feeling really indulgent, the cookie butter is to die for.

Haven't had a dud yet! They're cheaper for most of the products I buy, and for the products that are more expensive, the increase in quality makes up for it.

Nita, where do you go to TJ's? I couldn't find any in Arkansas. Do you go to Missouri?
