When to start defrosting turkey?

well if you try it let us know. I haven't done the brinning for turkey but did for chicken. I really didn't see any difference.

I'll put mine in the fridge on Monday. On Wednesday, I'll leave it out all day, then put it back in the fridge Wednesday night. If it's still a bit frosty on Thurday morning, I'll run some cold water into it.
Don't even bother getting started about salmonella, blah, blah, blah. I've been doing it this way for 40 years and haven't killed anyone yet.
