I don't like Papayas and Cantaloupe. I don't mind, I'll eat them, but I'm always disappointed if there is no other choice.
By the way, papayas and cantaloupe are completely unrelated to each other, despite their general similarity, including (in my opnion) flavor. I wonder if that is an example of "convergent evolution", in which two completely unrelated species evolve to resemble each other, because they both found survival value in similar characteristics.
Papaya and cantaloupe, as well. And an avocado is a fruit, right? Can't bring myself to eat those, either. Maybe in time I'll learn to like them, but for now I will pass.

I do not like fruit much at all. I will eat an apple once in a while and a banana once in a while but truly, I do not enjoy either one. The only real fruit that I LIKE is grapefruit (NOT the pink ones). Last summer my husband gave me a peach and it was awful.
I've never been big on fruits in general (sweet) I'm much more of a vegetable guy
