We ate boiled little sausages and potato salad. Apparently thats traditional. New Year's Day we had roast chicken thighs for breakfast (I had meant to cook them for lunch the day before but didn't get around to it) and I roasted lamb for dinner with some oven potatoes smothered in butter and herbs.

We had roast beef, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Pecan pie was for dessert. And of course, champagne at the stroke of midnight.
