Sometimes I'll make pancakes w/ blueberries in them and for me, some mini chocolate chips - though not all the time. Sometimes, I'll do with bananas or other fruit, like strawberries. We bring out the fixings. Brummel and Brown w/ yogurt butter (tho I don't use as much on mine as DH), Mrs Butterworth lite and strawberry jam (sometimes) and maybe even a spoonful of whip creme. I just got one of those pancake makers. Works pretty good too. They rise up and come out nice and fluffy. I've also done the mixes w/ pumpkin and some with apple spice, or banana and chocolate chip.

French toast on the griddle. Not as fancy but will sprinkle with some cinnamon. Sometimes use same on them as we do with pancakes or just use syrup.

Pour the sausage drippings from the skillet onto the sausages. Pour the syrup over the sausages mixing with the sausage drippings. Dip fork with pancake into syrup infused with sausage drippings.

Go to cardiac care unit at hospital for EKG.

Pancakes from scratch. My husband's recipe uses vinegar, so they are probably similar to buttermilk pancakes. Real butter and real maple syrup or a bit of brown sugar. I also like them with a fried egg, over easy, no syrup. The warm yolk soaks into the pancake: divine.

Why grade B and not grade A, Fontucky?

Grade B is darker and stronger in flavor. I like everything dark and strong.

Hase to be real butter and real syrup for me if I'm making it at home.

(Although I love to have a Denny's Grand Slam out every now and then)

My homemade buttermilk pancakes with chunks of breakfast sausage links in the batter. Covered with HOT 100% maple syrup. No butter.
