Straight up 100% Maple syrup on buttermilk pancakes--any add ons are welocome. Rather fond of walnuts or fruit..

I just bought me 2 boxes of frozen Aunt Jemima pancakes with the fake blueberry stuff and some Banquet fake sausages, both links and patties, and I will be having them all with the fake "Smart Balance" buttery spread and smother it all with the delicious fake mapley syrup! YUM!

I love Mrs. Butterworth syrup. As far as pancakes I like regular buttermilk or chocolate chip. And a ton of butter. I like to go to IHop once in a while and get those pancakes they make with all the fattening stuff on them...so good!

Default You won't believe how my grandmother served ours...

Buttermilk pancakes...great.

Then, slather on the butter. On each pancake.
Then, grape jelly...lots of it spread all over, on each pancake.
THEN, sugar sprinkled all over, on each pancake as well, for crunch.

Can not imagine how sweet that was!

Now, I don't care much for pancakes and syrup very often LOL.
(French toast is my thing!)

Mrs butter worths syrup for me on my pancakes. The ones at I-hop with the hot apples and whip cream are good too. last tiem I had I hop was 2 years ago, I miss having that

My kids thought pancakes for dinner was an awesome treat. Little did they know, it was all I could afford sometimes. I used to make them with added cornmeal or oats, to be more filling. My daughter likes them with butter and powered sugar. The boys, like them covered with syrup. I like pumpkin pancakes.

MY parents did the same thing. With 5 kids I look back and wonder how they did it. But these are the "treats" I will always remember!

I always loved and still love pancakes for breakfast. Sometime DH and I have breakfast for dinner. I'll make a big omlette and load it with veggies, cheese and sometimes potato.
