I like Log Cabin Original syrup. Not a huge fan of packaged pancake mix, but in a time crunch, I'm OK with Bisquick. Real maple syrup is OK, but I don't require it.

Most people seem to really like maple more than buttermilk. From what they sell at my grocery store, I thought it would be the opposite.

French toast is something I've never gotten into. I think it's because of the sweetness factor, which I don't think goes well with eggs. Now, I understand that eggs are an important ingredient in many cakes and pancakes, but when it is a predominant part of the food, I don't like eggs to be sweet.

...well, I just found out that French toast also comes in a "savory" variety, and not just sweet. I think I might like the savory type of French toast.

Real maple syrup is the absolute best ....... many aren't exposed to it though and it's much more expensive

Unfortunately syrup has gone the way of honey .... people would rather spend less for a lower quality honey or syrup "product" then shell out for the real stuff

I'm not much of a pancake guy, but love waffles - sweet belgian or regular with bacon usually

I used to only like BISQUIK but now they are PART GMO and I do not like eating GMO STUFF,its not good for you.......

I started looking for another pancake mix that DID NOT say "Partically produced with genetic engineering" and there is only 1 made now that isnt so I got it.....

HUNGRY JACK - BUTTERMILK PANCAKES

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!! (Much better than Bisquik (GMO stuff doesnt taste as good to begin with))

I like just Plain Syrup on my cakes with margarine/butter......

I don't like pancakes very much...but I love chicken and gravy and waffles and waffles and ice cream for supper. I aquired a second hand restaurant style belgian waffle maker...LOVE IT LOVE IT.

Can't wait to make REAL waffles for little 3 year old grandson this Christmas vacation. He'll love them.
