Assuming you had to eat their cooking every day for the rest of your life, which of the current TV cooks would you want to have fixing your meals?
Just the lady Chefs please. I would have to give Paula Dean my vote but it was close.

I'm not much on watching food shows (although I do watch some), but I really enjoy The Pioneer Woman. I have been following her on her blog The Pioneer Woman | Ree Drummond since my daughter introduced her to me a couple of years ago. I love her cooking blog because she has pictures and shows you exactly how to prepare each dish. She is now on Food Network on Saturday mornings. Check her out. I think you will like her.

Thanks for the heads up Grams I'll do that. Ordinarily I don't watch TV that much but I wanted to be able to watch football games this season so I got cable. Since good food is close to the top of my list of pleasures I spend almost as much time watching TV food shows as I do NASCAR and football. After the Super Bowl and in between Daytona Week they will help keep my sanity.

If I have to choose from the TV personalities, it would be Ina Garten. Barefoot Contessa. She's a big ole mess, but she sure can cook.

My tastes are way to eclectic to want a single chef to do my cooking. I would simply do the recipes and continue cooking my food, my way.............you do know that there really are a lot of chefs and a lot of cookbooks out there from people who have never heard of the cooking channel or the food network?

My favorite one would have to be the Barefoot Contessa, Ina Garten. Her recipes are simple yet delicious.
