I prefer it cold, milky and sweet. Many English people would be aghast at the very idea of drinking cold tea, but I'm more American in that respect. Love me some cold iced tea as well.

Growing up in South Texas I always had my coffee hot and my tea ice cold.

Now? in my mid fifties I like my tea hot. I prefer black, flavored teas and look forward to starting every day with a giant mug of two teabags. Mm..in fact I lust my tea.

I grew up with hot tea, even though it was usually my grandmother's Red Rose or Lipton. As a teen, I discovered Earl Grey...and it's been a lifetime of exploring different hot teas (usually black) since then.

While I do drink it iced in summer, it is not necessarily how I prefer to drink it.

Cold period! Nothing against hot though.... I just prefer it cold even in winter. More importantly, I have mine sweetened otherwise I wouldn't touch the stuff.

Iced rather than cold. Generally speaking I very rarely drink hot beverages. I do love Hot Cocoa in winter but seldom have tea or coffee , it has to be truly freezing for me to drink either. And I am ashamed to say when I do I am a total snob about it as well.

It depends. Green tea needs to be hot. Regular black tea could be hot or cold but needs to be sweet.

I like hot black tea with sugar and/or milk if I am in the mood, unsweetened green tea, even rooibos which is technically not tea at all! I like sweet iced tea and even unsweet if it is good tea. I like that amazing Thai iced tea that is all smoky and spicy and comes with an evaporated milk floater, and I like the masala tea they serve at the Indian restaurant - spicy, creamy, not sweet. These are perfect foils for their repective hot curries. Just about the only tea I don't like is old tea (makes me sick), lukewarm tea, or tea with lemon. I hate lemon.

I am not a big fan of tea hot, it tastes yucky to me. However I like iced tea, go figure. It has to be sweet and have lemon.
