I got to thinking about Girl Scout cookies and wanted to know what everyone's favorite was. I was a girl scout when I was a kid.

No contest.. peanut-butter-and-chocolatey Tagalongs.

They were called hoedowns back in my day.

Keep them in the freezer.

Now it is SAMOAS

For the longest time the ONLY GS cookie for me was THIN MINTS

I still like them, especially when they are frozen, but now the combination of chocolate, cocoanut is to my liking...

Darn, n ow I'll have to find a girl scout and put an order in...

None is as good as it used to be. That said, I like trefoils or shortbreads or whatever they call them now.

I like the Thin Mints, Samoas (Caramel de-Lites), and Trefoils (Shortbread Cookies) the best. But I've noticed the packaging became smaller and more expensive.

A couple years ago, I missed the fundraiser, but someone mentioned to me that Keebler makes similar cookies to the Thin Mints and Samoas (Grasshopper) and (Coconut Dreams). I get more cookies for about $2.50-$3.00 each package, year-round. A few people claim they aren't the same, but I think they're a great alternative.

Those Thin Mints are made by the Devil himself. I can sit down and eat a whole box. And then Jones around for more.
