I love their stuff but it is so expensive and I can't get the smaller size my small family needs. I've tried to make my own but it's just not the same.
Go to the deli and get your honey baked ham cut into thicker slices and then bake before serving. I can get four or five thick slices for $5 or $6. Same for honey baked turkey.

No it's not worth the price. But we often over pay for things we like. Our local grocer sells their own spiral sliced ham ..not as good but much cheaper. If OJ is still profiting from Honey baked hams I'd avoid them like the plaque.
You just have to do it. Just take a deep breath at least that is what I do. I love Honey Baked ham and so does my family. We use to drive to Charlotte to their store and now I just order it online and have it delivered to my door. Last year I found a good promo code for free shipping which helps. Check out some of the coupon websites if you plan on going to a local Honey Bake store or a promo code if you order online.
