Anyone know the real difference between McDonalds Iced Coffee Small for 140 calories 22 grams of carbs and Iced Latte for 80 calories 6 grams of carbs?

Also, if you ask McDonalds to blend/crush it into a smoothie type, any problem?

Default McDonald's $1 iced coffee

They got me with that $1 for any size coffee. I've never been a big coffee drinker but I've been having this more often lately. I really like the taste but I had to cut back because it has a lot of sugar.I didn't have any this week. It will have to be a once in a while treat for me.

Anyone got hooked with the $1 coffee?

Yeah, it's a good deal.

Luckily, the only McDonald's around is a 25-minute drive away, so I only get tempted once a week or so, in summer.

Do they offer sugar-free (splenda) coffee there? I can't have sugar.

I always get my coffee without the sugar, there. They don't have to put it in the iced coffee.

I had one last year, but I didn't like it.
The iced coffees at Tim Horton's are much better.

I get then sometimes because driving thru is just so damn convenient when I'm out driving places. I always tell them not to put in the sweetener (it's actually a liquid) and take a sip before driving away because, boy, I can sure tell when they don't listen to me!

I like their sweet tea on occasion too, it's HUGE, but there is no way around the sweetener in that so I don't do it more than a few times a year.

McD ice coffee is too weak, they have to pay me to get me to drink it. There is no coffee flavor at all, if you tell them to sweaten it all you taste is sugar and no caffeine kick at all.

I've wondered if there is any caffeine in those ice drinks at all. When I have stopped for one in the morning instead of my regular coffee it just doesn't do the job. I looked up the caffeine content of ice coffees and it's not the highest, so I am avoiding it when I need wake up drink.
