Everything! My mother was the boringest cook in the world. Always the same bland stuff night and night, week after week, etc..Meatloaf, baked chicken, pork chops. Now I love all kinds of foods and ethnic foods especially Mexican, Polish and Italian. Recently tried collard greens and loved them.
Cheese! I hated the smell and taste of cheese until I reached my late 30's and I started to enjoy it with wine. Now, I eat a variety of cheeses from cheddar to swiss.
I've always eaten cheddar and swiss and the likes, but blue cheeses, brie, havardi, gouda... I wouldn't have touched those with a 27 foot pole when I was younger and now I'm a cheese fiend.
It isn't things I was "recently introduced to" as my parents always ate a large variety of foods. I used to be a horribly picky eater. Pretty much, I ate meat products of any sort without question. When I was 8 I saw nothing wrong with eating un peeled whole shrimp (eyes and legs intact) but everything wrong with eating anything green. Then I became a vegetarian and tried to live off pasta and tofu and almost keeled over and then I entered a period of food acceptance. Now I'll eat literally anything at least once.
Yogurt was one of the first foods introduced to me by my college roommate's mother. Also introduced to Mexican food in college. Ate salmon for the first time about 10 years ago as well as Thai. Eat all of these regularly now.
I love greek food but only until 2 years ago did I ever try their chicken and lemon soup Avgolemono. I absolutley love it.
