I can't imagine cooking gourmet on a camping trip. Heck we do our time share in Vegas each year (it is coming up in 9 days) and I don't even do gourmet there. We have a full kitchen, I do a lot of the meals but they are mainly throw a salad on, take the steaks or chicken to the outdoor grill and eat, maybe even on paper plates.

Sounds like you had a full camping trip.

Wow thanks everyone for poking my memory with this thread!
Memories are fun as long as we don't spend too much time living in the past. I love to hear and read others stories and I love to share some of mine, dull or not, it is fun. In fact, this is one of the best subjects on City Data I think.

I have one riddled with guilt, when my older brother and I thought we'd play a joke on mom on Christmas eve. And one fun one about a place called Wally's-on the Hill, which I think was in Scotch Plains, N.J.
But I have to get ready for work, so I'll have to get back later. (tee, hee. the suspense mounts..........)
