I do not drink coffee. I don't care for the taste of it, I can only tolerate it with way too much flavored creamer. I can't drink the caffeine it gives me the jitters and keeps me awake all hours of the night even if I drank it at noon. I don't like the thought of becoming addicted to it, and for all of those reasons I do not drink coffee.
I do drink a cup of decaffeinated green tea most weekdays before work.
Do you drink coffee? Any benefits or disadvantages to not drinking coffee? I used to drink coffee when I was in college but it made my stomach rumble so I just stopped drinking it completely.
its an addiction
stay away from it
its delicious and i enjoy it from time to time but its not worth drinking everyday

I mainly drink tea, and it's very rare that I drink coffee.
I drink strong black teas. Don't like the taste of coffee, and that includes every product that taste like coffee...
Would drink it, though, if there is no other option or declining would be not well taken.
Like alcohol, I never really drank coffee until my 30s. Like alcohol, I found the taste off-putting when I first tried it - too bitter. I knew people who started drinking it (sometimes to excess) in college, as a means to stay awake during study and all-night cram sessions. I just found a good night’s sleep to be a more effective studying method for me.
But once I had kids and they were weaned, I found it helped me stay alert during the day on the short amounts of interrupted sleep I was getting at night. Unfortunately over time it became more of a habit and addiction. Not to the point of getting jittery, but I was drinking it without needing to or enjoying it.
Started off drowning it in sugar and cream to make it palatable, but over time just drank it with a splash of half n half. I find it too acidic and tough on the stomach to drink straight black.
If I stop for a few days, I find the desire for it wanes to the point where I can stop permanently if I wanted. On those days I prefer drinking tea - unadulterated please.
I don't drink coffee. Love the smell can't stand the taste. My wife loves it but only drinks two cups a day. She said she couldn't marry me if I couldn't fix her coffee right. We've been married almost 20 years so I guess I figured it out. lol
