Does anyone else like these?

I used to really like them when I was a kid. They are orange rectangular little crispy bars consisting of waffle style cookies with sugar between them. Kind of like a little sugar sandwich. My dentist gave me some gift certificates for some free ones and I had forgotten how delicious they were.

I remember those. I haven't seen them in years but I could eat a whole package. They made a great dinner while driving.

I'm going to see if I can find some.

The Asian grocery stores have them in all kinds of flavors. I like to pick up the taro-flavored ones whenever I shop at my local Chinese market.

At Christmas when we would get the large tin of variety biscuits/cookies, I would always grab those from both layers.

I remember sugar wafers too. One of my favorite treats as a kid.

I haven't thought about them in years, so thanks for the reminder. I'll look for them this weekend. I imagine that they are all sugar, so it is doubtful that I will get any, but maybe....just for nostalgia.

I remember when I first had them - they used to sell them by the pound at McCrory's downtown when I was little (we're talking the early 60's). They came in vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.
