Potatoes baked in Ash
Freshly caught fish/rabbit ( the smokiness always adds to the flavour)
Bananas cooked in their skin with a little brown sugar or dark chocolate melted into it
Mmmmm we used to cook banana boats in the coals. We would split a banana (don't peel) and put chocolate chips and marshmallows inside the banana, then place the banana in the coals until it was hot and melted.
We love "campfire pineapple upside down cake". You take a cake donut, add some brown sugar, a couple of pats of butter, place a pineapple ring on it, a couple of marachino cherries, wrap in foil and place in the coals. Delicious!

Oh! I want one of those now! I don't camp so I'm going to set my coffee table on fire and get this started!

That is a great idea! Never saw that done before, and I have camped all my life.
