Paula Fries a Cheesecake - YouTube

I LOL'd. I'm surprised she didn't set it in a gravy bowl and melt a stick of butter on top, before she added the powdered sugar, chocolate syrup and ..... fresh whipped cream.
I dare say that sprig of mint on top was embarrassed to be a part of that concoction.

Dang....she's disgusting! I mean, to indulge is one thing, but she's just like the grim reaper of the food world.

Is Paula Deen planning on selling at fairs? Where you can buy deep fried oreos & butter.

A cheese cake is an elegant dessert taste great the way it is. Only thing should ever change is maybe the topping.

It also a pricey dessert too, I would try it at a fair but there is no way I would do this to a cheesecake I purchase.

At the Indiana and Illinois state fairs I have seen Deep Fried Key Lime Pie.

A slice of Key Lime pie is battered and breaded, then deep fried and topped with chocolate and whipped cream.

What a waste of a perfectly good piece of Key Lime pie.

I feel the same about the deep fried cheesecake.

I am glad I no longer pay any attention to her. I think her days of being the Southern Star have about come to an end. Now, it is her son they are promoting. I will will stick with a few other stars and soon to be stars thank you. I believe there was a time many of us liked her, got a kick out of her accent (which btw I think is phony, but what do I know) and actually thought some of her recipes were worth trying, calories or not. Now, they are just plain over the edge.

Paula Dean does more to harm the health of viewers than any TV cookshow personality I can think of. Though I once enjoyed her comedy show, I turn off the channel when she's on.

With so much healthy, fresh food out there, it's terrible that she seems to focus only on the more unhealthy options. I've stopped watching, it's like a food trainwreck. And lol at "grim reaper of food!" I much prefer shows that use great food in creative ways that won't harm your health in the long run!

I'd taste a little bit of it but I prefer my cheese cake the old fashioned way. I have had fried oreos, my local pizza place makes them. Very sweet so I only had one.

I think she appeals to the older stoner crowd.
