Since this is an interesting thread, and everyone seems to mind the increasing prices and decreasing wallets .......I thought this thread might be a helpful tool.
How about using this thread for savings, sales information?
If someone "snags" or spots a good/ great deal, come on here and post on what the items are, how much they are and where to get it.
I know I would greatly appreciate it!
I am not sure about you guys, but, I do MISS a lot of great deals for one reason or another.
Let us know, where to go to save some bucks.
Well I have one for you. Watch your mail, if you have a krogers near you, they sent me a ton of coupons tied into using your plus card. They apparantly track your purchases with it and sent me a ton of coupons for stuff I buy all the time.

Does it come in an envelope clearly marked from Kroger? I havn't gotten anything like that, and I am a regular Kroger shopper. Of course, I get the coupons that print out when they ring me up that are based on my plus card purchases.
Krogers has a grocery store? I had no idea. I went to their site and put in my zip code (I live in Los Angeles) and nothing came up. I do see their products in our markets though.

Husband and I go to SAM's for things we use quite frequently, and don't mind having to buy in bulk. Boy, but I sure noticed a difference in the prices of a number of things. We try to keep on-hand the 3-packs of DiGiornio pizzas (for kids, drop-ins, easy lunch or something). Two weeks ago, they were under $10.00 for (3), and this afternoon, they were over $12.00. The bill was close to $200 and while I bought a number of items, there was just no comparison.
I think I shared with you Guys awhile back, that running to the store for incidentals -- the things you run out of more frequently -- ran me $80. I almost died.
I'd go on a diet, but those food items cost even more!
Thing is with most sale ads, they don't usually have sales on the things I normally buy.
Same here....but yesterday, I got "lucky"....LOL.
