Pretzels (used to eat Snyder's minis) have carbs & raise insulin. Peanuts (unsalted in-shell) have fat, & so cause lbs gain faster. I love both but have not had pretzels in a yr, at least, due to too much carb worries. Dad has Type 2, thus avoid as much carbs as I can. I eat sprouted Ezekiel bread only & limit grains like brown rice, quinoa or steel cut oats, etc. kept to a minimum.

Anyone compare these 2 snacks vs each other? Thanks.

If you are looking for a healthier nut, how about pistachios? I'd skip the pretzels. As long as you are portioning out your snacks, peanuts should be ok too. Try to eat different things so you maintain a more balanced palette of nutrition.
