I wash mine and reuse them often but was wondering if they are treated with something which will wash out? I kind of a recycling nut- wash and reuse baggies for kids lunches, tin foil which is only slightly used and it is only natural to was and reuse green baggies.

I don't think there is anything to wash out. I wash and reuse mine until they fall apart. A dozen times at least.

Google says 50. As long as you don't put too many heavy items in them...
