Vegetable platter. From right to left: boiled potatoes, yellow and green squash with tomatoes, cauliflower. Added butter and fresh chopped dill.
Looks delish! But....where's the ...you know?

Spaghetti at the kids place tonight.

Beef and broccoli with steamed rice. Also had some red seedless grapes on the side.

A big plate of spaghetti and homemade meatballs. Haven't tried to make my own red sauce yet, but I'm interested.

Do you have a grape arbor at your house? Here with grapes $2-$4 per pound it is an occasional snack.

I got busy working in the garage so ran down to Mickey Ds for one of their new burgers CBO won't get it again didn't like the cup of sauce that was on it and the grilled onions were burnt.

Tonight's dinner:

Tossed baby greens with blue cheese and dried fruit.
Chicken wings with an ancho chili sauce
Chicken wings with a bourbon reduction glaze (sounded better than it was)

Then I came home and prepared a pan of stuffed peppers AND a pot of 15 bean soup.

Not Dennis P, but I will break the bank for some grapes. Sweet, ripe, and crunchy red seedless grapes are my ultimate weakness!

Though at Whole Foods, I saw some grapes that were $6/pound and balked. Never paid more than $2.99/lb for mine.

Forgot to take something out of the freezer this morning but chicken tenders saved the day Crazy dinner ... frozen chicken tenders placed in the skillet, added a mixture of tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, worcestershire sauce, onion power - basically made my own bbq sauce. Simmered until chicken was done. Oven sweet potato fries and steamed broccoli. Later tonight, popcorn from my handy dandy air popper that I paid a whopping $5 for at the local thrift store. I'm livin' the good life.
