I wanted to end the year with my favorite Chinese fast food from my local place, which was fried rice with barbecued pork and black pepper chicken. I also had lemon iced tea to drink.

I ate anything and everything because my calorie count starts at zero at 12:01 am. Just kiddin'
I was going to make some fancy New Year's dinner and then I thought, 'oh what the heck,' and made blueberry pancakes.

Happy New Year to you all and thanks so much for sharing your ideas for dinner. I've taken a lot of your suggestions and made them for dinner. Now, if I could actually get you to come over and prepare them for me, I'd be a happy camper.

We will just have a bowl of soup, which is just started to cook. We are having brunch here about 11am. I doubt we will want a lot of dinner.
