DH was given a gift card to Macaroni Grill, so we went there. I had their Pasta Di Mare, (scallops, mussels, shrimp, chitarra, white wine, pomodoro, & garlic, over linguine). Yum! DH had their Chianti BBQ Steak, (sirloin cap steak, prosciutto mac-and-cheese, grilled vegetables, and garlic dip). Of course there was delicious, warm bread and herbed EVOO for dipping. For dessert I had tiramisu & coffee and DH had a quattro cannoli, (ricotta, chocolate chips, grand mariner, candied orange, pistachios) & coffee. OMG, I'm sooo stuffed!
Today was potato day at the Jaxson household. Made scalloped potatoes with diced ham in them, potato soup and New England dinner with corned beef, potatoes, carrots & cabbage.
Wednesday we are having fried pork chops, mac & cheese, and a green salad.
