I am going to fix chicken enchiladas with rice and guacamole salad. I have to do something with the chicken I stewed the other day, before it spoils. I will freeze what is left and use, when the weather warms up, for chicken salad..(maybe later next week)

First time in a long time that I've been forced to google something related to food to find out what it was! Different is right. . . though I love Tako (octopus sashimi).

Now you know, but it ain't octopus, nowhere neat it! I too love Tako, the BBQ'd octopus kind! Sashimi style is good too!

Me myself and I are alone tonight, matter of fact the whole weekend. So I prepared for tonight a French onion soup and I will have a nice glass of red wine.

Once a month I take one of my 4 nephews out to wherever they want to go for dinner, and tonight is the night to take Jackson (who is 5) out and he has chosen Chili's because he loves their baby-back ribs. So we will be enjoying from their 2 for $20 menu an appetizer of their CRISPY ONION and JALAPENO STACK, 1/2 rack each of baby-back ribs, french fries and sweet iced tea. Then we will go to Books-a-Million and pick him out a book to read and then take him back to my sisters house and call it a night.

enjoyed the greens that I made earlier in the week so much, I'm fixing turnip greens with baby potatoes tonight to go with a meatloaf. Saving the turnips themselves for a gratin later.

Ribyes marinated in teriyaki sauce and corn on the cob are on the grill as I type this. Will also grill some pineapple and have baked potatoes, Caesar salad and Texas toast to round out the meal. Sweet iced tea to drink and watermelon for dessert.
