Just had Filipino oxtail kare-kare for lunch! Guess what's for my dinner?
It's still yummy the 2nd go around as long as there is still alamang
(shrimp paste) left, because it ain't kare-kare without the shrimp paste!

I am taking the left over steak from Sunday and combining it with some of the over-stocked mushrooms I have and making sorta a beef stroganoff I guess you would call it. Also will roast brussel sprouts and fix a carrot and raison salad.

Tonight is a celebration of Tex/Mex cuisine featuring;

chips and hot salsa as a starter,
Platillo del Mar ~ which consists of a dozen pan fried shrimp and a filet of pan fried Tilapia,
a serving of refried beans,
a Mexican salad topped with shredded cheese and sour cream,
a dollop of guacamole and some pico de gallo,
a sliced onion and tomato,
a humongous whole Jalapeno Pepper,
and copious amounts of sweet iced tea.
