Tonight we're actually going out to eat (don't do that too often) and I could use the break from cooking and cleaning up after. We'll have sushi and sake.

I have a crock pot of chicken vegetable soup cooking now. Should be read by dinner. Can't decide if I'll have french bread or make a little cornbread to go with it. Feeling a little punk today so the soup should get me up and running again.

Sort of the same menu plan as yesterday:

Fried hand breaded chicken strips, white rice, and cucumber salad.

What about buttered noodles? Or Rice, or Rice-a-Roni?

Last night was Papa Murphy's Taco Pizza which was wonderful! Tonight is a big crockpot full of vegetable beef soup and cornbread. Sounds like HereonMars and I were thinking alike!

LOL @ Katsmeeyow. It does sound like we were on the same page today. For bloominscranton ... the buttered noodles are really good. Someone else mentioned them last week and I made some because I was tired of potatoes, too. They were delish!

Ever try browning pork chops, then in crock pot, put saurekraut, chop onion, one cup hot water with teaspoon of ketchup, one can of brown gravy. Put pork chops in, cook on low for 6 hours. Serve with mashed potatoes. Yum!!!
