Pancakes are nothing without the addition of maple syrup.

However, I have found that I DETEST maple anything else: maple donuts, maple oatmeal, etc. Their taste is just nasty.

Q: Do you like items with the taste of maple?

I'm pretty much the exact opposite. I prefer sugary syrup on pancakes and can't handle pure maple syrup. However, I do like some maple flavored things like those soft maple candies or maple donuts/cake (in limited amounts).

I like maple syrup (both pure and contrived), maple bacon, maple sausage. My favorite oatmeal? Maple and Brown Sugar - yum.

I guess you could say that I like maple - quite a lot, actually.

The only thing I like Maple outside of syrup are the candies called "Maple Nut Goodies" and then I only have those once or twice a year if that often.

I don't like real maple syrup either. I guess it's because I wasn't raised eating it, because it was way too expensive. I can take or leave maple flavored things. The only thing I use real maple syrup for is a chicken recipe that I make occasionally.

I prefer Log Cabin to real maple syrup. I like maple donuts and those real maple candies from Vermont. Anything else maple flavored, no thanks.
