I only buy them a couple of times a year because they are so bad for you. I'll get the family pack and finish it in about 2 days.

I love how Kellogg's tried to be healthy about Pop-tarts until a few years ago, when they clearly said "Ah, f*** it" and now they have ridiculous flavors like "double chocolate birthday cake explosion!" or something. I also have to stop myself from buying them. In college I couldn't find the unfrosted blueberry so my sister would ship them to me. My favorites now are the brown sugar ones.We only got them on special vacations like a week at the beach growing up. Easy for the hungover adults to throw at us for breakfast and we played off all the calories and sugar. My son got one at his grandmother's house once and alternated between bites of heaven and shooting me looks of "you've been holding out on me."

Seriously start looking at labels and it will freak you out - I picked up a candy bar, just the normal size one, and it said it contained one and a half servings......How many people are going to eat 2/3 of a candy bar and put the rest away for later (some really restrained, logical people I am sure - but many people really aren't going to even read the label to begin with?) And I got a soda out of the machine a few years ago, and it said it contained one and a half servings again! It was just a regular size 16 or 20 oz bottle - I am not a big soda fan, hardly ever drink the stuff, but I drank the whole dang soda
but would prefer they just pack it in single servings.
Corporate America is why we are all fighting an obesity epidemic, lol. B******s!

I have a package (qty 2) of Frosted Strawberry pop tarts for breakfast every Sat & Sun. Microwave them for 25 seconds and down them with a glass of ice water. Breakfast of Champions!

I like poptarts. I like toaster strudel too. I know neither are good for you.

I bought some more pop tarts yesterday. I hadn't gotten them in quite a while and suddenly I see a new flavor! Peanut butter and then chocolate and peanut butter!

I'll let you know how this turns out!!!

I can't buy them unless I'm doing a "cheat" day, because I'll eat the whole box - especially if they're brown sugar/cinnamon...yum!

Interesting. Please let us know how they are.

My favorite pop tarts are the unfrosted strawberry ones.

I have not tried the peanut butter chocolate ones yet.
