I'm a big fan of cottage cheese, but I usually mix stuff into it. My favorite is to mix in some canned peaches and maybe some walnuts. But I'm looking for new or interesting things to mix in there. What do you add into yours? Have you mixed in anything kinda out there that turned out to be pretty tasty?

Usually I eat it with tomatoes, peaches or pineapple. But my favorite way is just plain with salt & pepper.

I love to eat a flax bread with peanut butter, jam and cottage cheese. Or I make a full meal out of it. Boil potatoes, peel them, put salt, pepper, chives or green onions and caraway in the cottage cheese and serve a touch of butter with the potatoes. Delicious I tell you and cheap. If you decorate the mixed cottage cheese with sliced tomatoes that looks very appetizing and appealing to the eye. Let me know what you think and how you like it!

Just assume eat it plain, but I do like pickle juice mixed in with the cottage cheese, I can stand to have ground pepper on top too. DH likes his with pineapple or Catalina dressing & ground pepper.
