I thought it was outrageous. First outrageous dish I ever made was panfried salmon and scallops with white rice and Japanese spring rolls (Harumaki) all hitting the plate within 1 -2 minutes of each other.
That was a win. 4 dishes coming together at the same time with vastly differnt cooking times.
I think that's the sign of a good chef. Maybe I'm wrong. I love bringing it all together.. saying "Dinner's done!" and it's all hot and good on your plate.
