I keep raw almonds and walnuts, and a low calorie protein drink in my car if I get hungry running errands.

But if I had evening stuff with only a 10 minute break I'd make a sandwich.

What are some of your go-to snacks when you're in a situation where you can't have dinner but need something that will fill you up that you can grab quickly and eat on the go?
Why not pack yourself a sandwhich prepared the night before, there are all kinds of food containers that will keep it fresh and they fit right in your knapsack. Then you can have a more substantial snack that way.

My faves are apples, boiled eggs, cheese & crackers, Tuna Lunch Kits, chocolate meal replacements like Special K. Maybe soup in a thermos, pack some crackers. Hummus in a small tupperware jar and some armenian crackers like Ak-Mak would be good, too.

Me too! However, unfortunately, I have recently found salt & vinegar almonds and they are extremely addicting! Not as healthy as regular almonds, but better than chips? I hope....
