As far as I have seen, just about every town has at least one Chinese take-out place. If you're in a city of any large size, you probably have more than one. Whenever I go to one, I always have to get the fried rice. Something about that is just too friggin delicious. I'm also a fan of General Tso Chicken.
That depends on what they're good at. There was one place I went for Singapore noodles, another for potstickers, another for eggplant in garlic sauce, another for cold sesame noodles and yet another for moo goo gai pan.
Not all Chinese take out places are the same. Far too many fail at even the basics. I live near a larger city and even around here I've only found one place that does all of the above acceptably.

You said it. I remember when we used to get what I assumed were the standard egg roll and they were delicious! Now seems like most places where I live now cant get it right.
