While I prefer a freshly baked French baguette, I really like the mix of pumpernickle and rye, which I cannot find very often unless I am at a really good deli.

I too love an artesian whole grain.

For everyday, we love Dave's Killer Bread from costco. Lots of whole grains.

I should have included more choices for this poll. For breakfast toast I prefer whole wheat, for most other times I prefer a nice artisan crusty type of bread.

I love all bread, as long as it's freshly made. It's one of my downfalls (along with pasta), so I try not to have it around often.

I love rye bread, I wish there was a bakery where I lived that made some!

There's no accounting for taste.
I only like white bread-that is what appeals to my senses, not whole wheat. I acknowledge that whole wheat/grain is considered healthier, and to some folks it is tastier. Be that as it may, my preferences differ. I will refrain from insulting tastes that I do not share-the market for bread is large enough to support our varied favorites, it's not a "right vs. wrong" issue.

French style bread, fresh from the oven, nice and crackly. Mmmmm. Foodgasm.

I love all bread, and if were just me I would buy a good whole wheat or multi-grain bread. However, hubby hates wheat bread, so I usually buy plain old white bread, which usually goes bad before we eat much of it. We rarely eat bread, unless it's something hot, served with the meal.

I really love some good artisan breads from a local bakery, but they are too expensive ($7+ per loaf) and the bakery is too far away to get it very often. My favorite is their French baguette and their 5 grain levain.
