Well, if tonight's the end of the world, my last meal was a Stouffer's steamed-bag shrimp dinner, and some sugar cookie dough. And a Vernor's ginger ale.

My last meal was a Latin steak dish with seasoned black beans, white rice, and fresh bread, with a Malbec from Argentina.

It's sirloin seasoned with cumin, granulated garlic, onion powder, pepper and salt, and topped with a layer of thinly sliced tomato, sauteed sliced white onion, and seeded, finely diced serrano peppers, which is all simmered/steamed in a covered skillet with a splash of each red wine and beef broth, which is then ladled over everything and the primary flavor of the rice.

If you don't die, try it.

I thought suspension of disbelief was a given, considering the title of the thread.

I'm coming along as +1 with Mooseketeer - her menu fits the bill for me too. I'd offer to supply the breath mints but who cares about garlic breath if the world is ending!

I will have a fine wine, some good cheese, and a crisp apple. Could life get any better?

I probably should have grilled those t-bones on Saturday when I bought them instead of putting them in the freezer huh? Oh well, maybe I'll get them out and have them tomorrow before the official end of the world. Is it tomorrow in Australia yet?

Cup of seafood bisque
macaroni & cheese
pizza
meat loaf & cheesy potatoes
finish it off with an ice cream cake.

Since its going to be our "last meal" anyways, no need to worry about calories.
